What is 7s Rugby?
Rugby Sevens, commonly referred to as 7s rugby, is a faster-paced and more dynamic variant of traditional rugby union. It features two teams of seven players each, competing on a standard-sized rugby field. Matches are shorter, lasting only seven minutes per half. The reduced player count and shorter game time results in a highly entertaining, action-packed version of the sport, characterized by quick passes, agile runs, and high-scoring gameplay. Rugby Sevens is popular worldwide, especially in tournaments like the Rugby Sevens World Series and the Olympic Games.
